Majdan e un sat sarbesc din apropierea granitei cu tara noastra si cu Ungaria. In vremuri normale, avea o populatie de 180 de persoane. De cand insa Ungaria a instalat un gard la frontiera cu Serbia, pentru a intrerupe ruta balcanica a migratiei, Romania a devenit singura cale prin care migrantii isi pot continua drumul spre Europa de Vest. Astfel ca populatia satului s-a triplat, iar acesta s-a transofrmat in tabara, din care migrantii isi incearca norocul spre Romania, apoi spre Ungaria.

Am încercat să trec graniţa o dată iar aici sunt de o lună.
Da. Sunt aici, fără duş, fără nimic. Câteodată fac rost de mâncare…

Situaţia e rea aici, vedeţi, totul este rău. Avem atât de multe
probleme aici, dar ce putem să facem… ăsta este adevărul.

Aşa ceva nu e normal, ce pot să vă spun, nu e normal…
Nu mai suportăm, e o nebunie, nu mai rezistăm. Dar ce

putem să facem? Mulţi dintre ei intră în casele nelocuite.
Din fericire, nu intră peste noi, în cele locuite. Dar noaptea,

îi auzi plimbîndu-se, e ca şi cum ar fi cu tine în casă.

There are many of them and they enter every empty house. Luckily, they are not yet entering the houses where people live. But during the night, hundreds of them walk about. Nu avem probleme cu ei. În ceea ce priveşte comportamentul lor,
sunt doar oameni obişnuiţi. Dar nu au case, aşa că trebuie să doarmă

undeva şi intră în casele nelocuite şi stau aici.

insa fluxurile migratorii nu au incetat. In prezent mai bine de 6000 de migranti sunt blocati in Serbia, unde traiesc pe cont propriu sau in tabere gestionate de autoritati.
